Beating the Heat

With all this HEAT we needed to get out of the oven (our house) and cool down a little. We decided to meet at the Bellevue Club for a dip in the pool and dinner with friends. Morgan was less interested in the pool and more interested in the water fountains. Apparently we were not the only one with that idea. As we waited for a table for 8 we hit the basket ball courts and let the kids around. The AC felt so good, I did not want to leave. And it must have worked because Morgan went right to sleep when we got home and the house did not feel soooo HOT that night.

Crazy Cousins

Our crazy FUN cousins came over to visit and play in the lake. After a morning swim we went to see the bubble man at Beaver Lake Park. It was 98' degrees outside. Morgan was hungry and tired, not a good combo for mom.

Seattle Heat Wave

We hit the lake today to try and stay cool in this Heat Wave. Morgan is starting to like the lake more. But was not a big fan of floating out on the raft with mom. But she loved the water slide!

Banana Pancakes

Today we got early and made Morgan's favorite breakfast, banana pancakes with mini chocolate chips. This time Morgan got to help mom mix the batter. Quick Clean up!

It's a Hoedown!

This weekend we hosted a Wild Wild West Party for a good friend's Birthday. We had so much fun planning the party and it was a BLAST!

Summer Dinner

Today we enjoyed a nice dinner outside with Grandma and Grampa. Morgan LOVED her corn on the cob. It was so fun watching her try to eat it! She is growing up so fast.

On the Tractor

There is so much to do at the Woodland Park Zoo. This is the second time this week we went to the Zoo and each time we find a new adventure to go on. Riley and Morgan loved playing on the tractor and playing with the farm animals. But we saved the best for last, who knew washing your hands could be so much fun. I think the girls would have been fine just playing with the soap and water all day. Forget the animals.

Butterfly Fun

Macy's 9th Birthday Party was full of Butterflies. We painted all the girls faces with pretty butterflies and even painted Morgan and Mattie's face! Not easy thing to do on a 18 month old and 3 year old. Morgan loved being at a BIG girl party!

BBQ and Fireworks

This was the Best 4th of July I can remember. We invited a few good friends over to celebrate with a BBQ and fireworks show on the lake. The weather was perfect. The kids had a blast playing together and swimming in the water. The surfboard and water slide was a big hit. And the firework show was fun to watch. A great night! Thank you Grandpa and Grandma Clark for helping with Morgan (and all the other kids). We love you!
